Magic Items Guide – Best Use of Books, Hammers, and Potions

Magic items can accelerate your progress significantly. This guide tells you the most efficient way to use books, hammers, and potions.

Books

Use Books of Heroes on long hero upgrades (10+ days). Use Books of Building on the most expensive/time-consuming buildings (Eagle Artillery, Inferno, Scattershot).

Hammers

Hammers are best for upgrading Town Halls or key defenses. Save hammers for Town Hall 17+ where upgrade times exceed 2 weeks.

Potions

Use builder potions when all builders are busy with long upgrades. Use research potions when you have a long lab upgrade.

Runes

Use runes when you have almost full storage to avoid waste. Combine with builder potions for maximum benefit.
